We are located in Shelby Township, Michigan. Our Troop was founded in 1962 and currently has over 166 Eagle Scouts and counting. We meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm at Crissman Elementary.
We are a boy-led troop, offering a Scouting program with emphasis on camping and outdoor skills. Our Scouts use the Patrol Method to actively practice the leadership skills they will use as adults. Troop 208 is a member of the Chippewa District in the Great Lakes Council. Our charter organization is King of Kings Lutheran Church of Shelby Township. We are an active Troop with a busy schedule of campouts, outdoor activities, special events, and community service projects.
Our Troop aims for 8-10 or more campouts each year to give our Scouts ample opportunities for advancement. Some of our regular epic campouts include our Gaming Campout, Hungryman and a rotating summer camp each year chosen by the Scouts
All boys ages 11 to 17 (or 10 having earned their Arrow of Light Award) are welcome to join. Contact us for more information about our activities, or click on the "Get to Know Us" link on the left to see the Webelos events we are offering.
